It seems inconceivable that this could happen Alcohol Concern have just realised that dependence on booze destroys relationships.
they released figures that have apparently just come into their possession. 65% of relationships break up due to alcohol abuse...where were these people when the children and partners ect of alcoholics were begging for help!

Seems like a no-brainer to me. How much money did these folks get to perform this study, I wonder?

Far too much I expect and it was a complete waste. Think of what that money could have done for the families.

Those researchers could have made better use of their time by twiddling their thumbs, but, I guess that doesn't pay as well.
